Chocolate Hangover

I made some pointed hints to Noel that I would LOVE some fancy chocolate (a medium sized Bernard Callebaut egg to be exact) for Easter. Never wanting to disappoint, he totally came through with something fitting that description but better - it was filled with fancy chocolates! I have since been eating chocolate (one or two or eight) everyday. Funnily enough, I'm starting to feel lost without it. I'm actually dopey and sad until I get home to my egg'o'chocolate. After a single chocolate I'm instantly better. Perhaps I should just eat chocolate non-stop to keep the high going instead of questioning it? All I know is I'm counting the minutes until I get to have my next fix.

Unhappy Day After St. Paddy's

No luck motivating the people at work but luckily Zoe came through for me!! She emailed at 3:30 wanting someone to go out with and I quickly responded that I was her woman. The first bar we tried to get into wanted us to wait in a line to pay a $20 covercharge...whatever. We ended up at a dirty little bar called Murphy's and it was perfect. Noel and Jeff even came out! My stomach is not the happiest today but that's okay because it was worth it!

Happy St. Paddy's Day

When I lived in Newfoundland today was a holiday. We would go to the bar around noon and drink and party until the wee hours of the morning. Today I'm trying to harass the people around me into joining me for a Guiness before lunch...wish me the luck of the Irish!

Hot Salsa

Noel and I are loving Salsa lessons with Tracy and Phil. Lessons are Sunday nights at The Latin Corner on 4th St SW. We're not quite ready to shake and shimmy like Tracy (few people are) but we're getting less robotic each week. We may even advance to intermediate in the next few weeks!!!

The Great House Swap

Noel and I have agreed to do a house swap with Ashley's cousin Jana and her partner Jay. They are going to live at Rancho Relaxo for a while (until they get settled in Ontario and whatnot) and we are going to live in TUSCANY (just 25 mins out of downtown Calgary). Only 1 month and a bit of basement living left!
