Adventures in Calgary

Suzanne had the kids dress up for their hallowe'en party a day early. Mom (Gram Cookie) bought Molly this duck costume weeks ago but we could never get her to try it on. Lucky for me, she was willing today! I think it was because Zoe was here encouraging her. We'll see how she does tomorrow night...

Mom and Dad headed back to Ontario early, early this morning. I was sad to see them go. They are both so awesome with Molly. I wish we all didn't live so far apart. Molly was still asleep when they left so when she woke up she was looking all over for them. At least she's getting old enough that you can explain things to her and she almost understands. And she's also getting old enough to remember who they are and how much fun she has with them.

Mom and Dad arrive today to celebrate Thanksgiving with us. And by us I mean Molly and I because Noel is off to Ottawa to celebrate with his Dad, Sister Michele and Grandparents. I can't wait for Mom and Dad to see Molly. She's speaking so much better everyday. She can actually say Grandpa and Grandma now! This is a photo I took last weekend with the camera from work (we're still trying to complete our insurance claim for our stolen cameras). Molly is all about the cuddles these days. It's so great!

In other news, the new job is going really well so far. And the basement is coming along. The framing is done and the electrical is getting there. One big hiccup with things is that our design requires all special order tiles and fixtures that will take 4-6 weeks to arrive so once the wiring and whatnot is done things will be on hold until all the various parts and wingdings arrive. Good thing we're not in a rush.
