Adventures in Calgary

Jake is 9.5 months old now. He's getting so big. He's comfortable cruising around the furniture now too. He won't eat anything pureed anymore (which leaves me with a freezer full of baby food). Molly is loving school. I'm planning on having her home with me a couple of days a week for July and August. I just figured I should try to get a bit more time with her before I start back to work in September. Project sleep through the night is working...slowing...but any improvement is better than none. Molly did awesome last month, sleeping 22 out of 30 days. This month is off to a rocky start because Noel has been busy with the pager and the dayhome is having lots of changes. As usual, Molly's sleep is the first thing to go as soon as there is any sort of transition or change in her life. We're just going to keep up with the incentive program and hope for the best. Grandma Nancy and Grandpa Andrew were nice enough to buy us a playcentre for the backyard. I'm hoping it'll help make staying home for Jakey's naps a bit more fun for Molly this summer. We haven't found a baby swing for Jake yet but we will.
